Ayaw kong sabihin. Baka magkatotoo.
Dahil makulit ka
Kilala kita. Naaalala kita.

"Poetry proposes no solutions: it says justice is the well water of the city of Novgorod, black and sweet." - Robert Hass
I propose that everyone point a finger at the moon. I propose that everyone cut a finger off, and toss it into a sea of fingers, and watch the fingers grow into hands, many hands, held. I propose that everyone jump into this sea of fingers and search for their own finger, search for their brother’s finger, or God’s, or a murderer’s, or the finger of that one baker whom one asked for bread, who gave one bread, or at least flour and fire, and water; I propose that everyone keep that finger in a lacquered box and say, Thank you, look, the moon. I propose that all rings found be turned over to the government, and that the government—- no, no. I propose that no one mention the word government again. Nor anarchy. I propose that all rings found be given to bakers. I propose that no solutions be offered, only flour and fire and water, and silence, and maps. I propose that everyone search for Novgorod and cup its sweet black water in one’s hands, and drink. And if the water slips through, that everyone lower their heads and stare at the well-water. That everyone say, Beautiful, thank you, look, the moon.
